Assembly friendly! Independent of insertion into the chassis, Lockit Strain Reliefs self-lock onto the cable. Thus, they may be pre-assembled off-line for final assembly at a later time or remote location, for lower installed cost!
Lockit SRs hold so well they pass UL pull-out test requirement with or without chassis support.
Lockit Strain Reliefs protect the lifeline of your electric/electronic products by absorbing the forces of push and pull, relieving the stress that may be exerted on the flexible power cord. Lockit strain relief's rectangular design eliminates the possibility of part rotation under straining forces of twist.
Lockit Strain Relief's three finger design securely anchors into chassis as thin as .032" (0,8mm) and as thick as .099" (2,5mm) for a neat, clean appearance. Five locking steps and a slim head profile make Lockits design specific!
These strain relievers standardizes panel design! Fill unneeded Lockit SR mounting holes with the Heyco Rectangle RP 155-130 (Part No. 1890).
Molded of type 6/6 nylon. ASTM D-4066; flammability classification 94V-2; temperature index 125°C. Maximum temperature on the part shall not exceed 105°C.
Lockit Strain Reliefs are easy to assemble! Simply place bushing into the "U" opening of the Lockit Assembly Head. Then place the cable into the bushing body and close the head to snap Lockit permanently onto the wire. This completed sub-assembly can then be installed with fingertip pressure into the applications's mounting hole at a later time, in a different place, for strain relief and lower installed costs!
