Twin
or Multiple-Type Push-ons
Twin or Multiple-Type Push-ons Twin or Multiple-Type Push-Ons
offer all the benefits of the standard push-on-type fastener,
while providing the ability to securely fasten two or more
studs simultaneously. These fasteners substantially reduce
parts handling and assembly time, and are conveniently used
in applications to prevent turning of the fastened panel,
or prevent buckling or loosening of center panel sections.
Most small emblems and nameplates require two mounting studs
to prevent their turning on the panel. Long or circular units
need several studs along their length or circumference to
prevent buckling or looseness in center sections. A one-piece,
self-locking., Twin or multiple Impression
Push-On is able to securely fasten all studs simultaneously
– thus substantially reducing parts handling and manufacturing
costs. Zipped over unthreaded studs, rivets, jewels, tubing,
etc., these hardworking fasteners lock on everything from
thermoplastics to hard chrome studs. Wide variation in stud
sizes and center-to-center dimensions are available.
How to apply Twin and Multiple Type Push-on
Speed Nut Fasteners
Position Push-On over studs
and zip down into locked position. Simple, channel-shaped
tools can be employed for Twin-Type
Push-Ons or those Multiple-Types
having the fastening impression in a single row. Where irregular
spaced impressions are required, simple tools can be devised
to permit the fastener to engage all studs simultaneously.
